Biography

Dr. Deepak A. Kapoor is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Medical Professionals (IMP) and the President of Advanced Urology Centers of New York (AUCNY), based in Farmingdale, New York.

He is one of the youngest physicians to have been certified by the American Board of Urology. His medical background combines extensive laboratory research with clinical experience in both academic medicine and independent practice.

Dr. Kapoor’s expertise includes:

• Molecular biology research
• Oncologic (cancer) surgery
• Reconstructive urologic surgery

Under his leadership, Integrated Medical Professionals (IMP) has grown into the largest independent comprehensive urology group practice in the United States. IMP is nationally recognized for its leadership in:

• Quality management
• Utilization review
• Compliance
• Development of coordinated clinical pathways

Academic and Leadership Roles

Dr. Kapoor currently serves as:

• Clinical Professor of Urology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
• Chairman of Health Policy for LUGPA
• Past President of LUGPA
• Chairman of SCRUBS RRG (a medical liability insurance company)

His previous leadership positions include:

• Director of UroPAC
• Chairman of Access to Integrated Cancer Care
• Founder of the New York Urology Trade Association
• Founder of the Integrated Medical Foundation

He is also a Fellow of the American College of Physician Executives.

Publications and Awards

Dr. Kapoor has published numerous scientific articles and lectures extensively on both clinical urology and healthcare business management.

He serves on several medical advisory boards, including the:
