Biography

Dr. Howard Kivell is a Board Certified Urologist who has been practicing at the Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center for over twenty years.

He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Genetics, from Cornell University, College of Arts and Sciences. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.

Dr. Kivell completed six years of residency training at Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident from 1986 to 1988.

Dr. Kivell practices general urology with special interests in:

• Early detection of genitourinary tumors
• Compassionate treatment of genitourinary tumors
• Non-invasive treatment of benign prostate conditions
• Treatment of urinary stone disease
