About
Born on Long Island, New York, and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Chevinsky pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Neurosciences with a minor in Philosophy at Drew University, graduating Summa Cum Laude and earning membership in Phi Beta Kappa, Beta Beta Beta, and Nu Rho Psi honor societies. He earned his medical degree with distinction in research from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and spent a year focusing on urologic cancers at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Chevinsky completed a general surgery internship and four years of adult and pediatric urology residency at Washington University in St. Louis–Barnes Jewish Hospital Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident. He then completed a fellowship in Robotic Urologic Oncology and Minimally Invasive Surgery at The University of Southern California Institute of Urology, performing over 200 robotic urologic surgeries.
Dr. Chevinsky has practiced in Southern California and now brings his expertise to AUCNY Bethpage, providing advanced urologic care while emphasizing patient education, individualized treatment, and long-term patient relationships.
